Away from radio - family's really important to Laura and from a young age she's been actively involved in caring for various relatives. Most recently, her parents had a serious car accident and Laura's been caring for them and her Gran. She says that little kindnesses make a big difference and it is a privilege to be there when a loved one needs you.
